Mayisha Akbar moved to Compton CA in 1988, to a little known rural community called Richland Farms and bought a few horses. As a single parent, Mayisha wanted her own 3 children to experience the wonder of growing up rural. Well her children became “pied pipers” and before long, children began flocking to their home.
